Ingredients:

  • 250 gm flour
  • 145 gm sugar
  • 100 gm butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp red food coloring
  • 120 ml milk
  • White frosting and edible red food coloring

Method:

  1. You first have to preheat the oven to 180°C, and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. Then, in a medium-sized bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. You can use an electric mixer to cream the butter till it's airy and fluffy. To the butter, you need to add eggs, one after another, beating well after each addition.
  4. Then you can gradually add the dry ingredients into the butter mixture, alternating with milk, and beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Beat the mixture until it is just combined.
  5. You can now add red food coloring to it, and stir in.
  6. Next, pour the batter into cupcake molds, and bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
  7. You need to wait for some time while these yummy cupcakes cool down, and then frost them with a combination of white frosting and edible red food color.

Frankenstein's Monster Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 500 gm flour
  • 240 gm sugar
  • 150 gm butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp vanilla extract
  • 190 gm chocolate chips

Method:

  1. You have to first preheat the oven to 180°C, and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, you need to whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Use a food processor to beat the butter till it turns creamy. While beating the butter, you also have to carefully add in eggs, one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
  4. Now, add the dry ingredients gradually, beating till a soft dough forms.
  5. At this stage, add chocolate chips and stir them in.
  6. And then, you have to cover the dough using a plastic cover and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.
  7. Roll out the dough into small balls the size of a regular tablespoon. Mould them with the pressure from your palms.
  8. Place the balls in the baking tray, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Once you take them out of the oven, you have to allow them to cool on the wire rack for five minutes.
  10. Before serving, you must not forget to frost them with ready-made green frosting and some store-bought edible bolts.

Ghostly Shortbread Cookies

  • 250 gm flour
  • 140 gm sugar
  • 100 gm butter
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 400 ml cream

Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, confectioners' sugar, and salt.
  3. Then, add softened butter to this mixture, and mix until a dough comes together.
  4. Take it out on a lightly flour-dusted surface and knead gently. Then, with a rolling pin, roll the dough out to 5 mm thickness.
  5. Cut the dough into desired shapes using a cookie cutter.
  6. It is important that you leave about 2.5 cm of space between cookies on the prepared baking tray.
  7. Then you have to bake the cookie dough for 18-20 minutes.
  8. Before digging in, let the cookies cool for five minutes on a baking sheet, and then finish by cooling them on a wire rack.
