You would want to bake up a storm after this article for we think Disney’s heroes are best imagined as chocolate desserts. So, cook, bake and whip up some and have a movie marathon!

If chocolate desserts were Disney Princes, who would be which dessert?

You have to be as smooth as chocolate to impress and make a princess swoon or any girl for that matter, and fall for you, so, how about some chocolate desserts to perfectly capture these chocolate boys? We mean the male protagonists who star alongside our favorite Disney Princess’ of course. It's only fair you'd like to know your man by spending ample time by going on adventures with him before you choose to spend forever with him. So, we picked the men based on their involvement in the lives of their respective princesses’. Just like you would look up the best-reviewed moist chocolate cake recipe before making it. No hate to princes who appear far later, but we like an involved man in this modern day and age.

1. Chocolate Tart – Prince Naveen

The term was damsel-in-distress, we believe, but Disney went on a bender with some of their princes, because Prince Naveen is a frog. Or rather that is how he is introduced to us, and a pompous entitled frog at that. Disney strayed here a bit from the original story and made Tiana a waitress, so she ends up turning into a frog when she kisses Froggie Naveen and they have (mis)adventures in their little forms. He's a chocolate tart who decides to reform because he wants to, and also because Tiana happened to him.

2. Chocolate Chip Cookies – Aladdin

Disney followed the script or rather, the book for this character, he's the poster child of rags to riches, who gets brownie points for meeting Princess Jasmine, even though she was in disguise before magic took over his life. He's ordinary, a thief and dreams of a better life that he eventually gets through the blue genie, and the bond between them is unique and he stays with Aladdin of his own free will. So, a chocolate chip cookie for this down-to-earth chocolate boy who swept Princess Jasmine off her feet and found a family among exiled magical beings, his beloved monkey and the palace's riches. Discover a whole new world by trying an eggless chocolate chip cookie recipe.

3. Chocolate Pudding – Prince Eric

He does a lot of peek-a-boo in the films as Ariel keeps admiring him from far. The Grimms’ Fairy Tale painted a rather tragic love story between Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, but when chocolate is involved let's not stray far from Disney. She did find love with Eric by completely bewitching him when she emerged from the sea, sans tail and all feet in a glittering silver gown and her red hair surrounding her face. Prince Eric in all his sailor garb glory, and his pretty sea princess have a story as smooth and heartwarming as a chocolate pudding.

4. Chocolate Mousse – Kristoff Bjorgman

The gentlest man ever deserves to be the smooth chocolate mousse, he escorts Princess Anna in her quest to find her beloved sister who self-exiled herself, to bring her home. He undergoes the arduous journey all the way in the thick snow and blizzard fighting wolves and a snow monster with his best friend Sven the reindeer all along the way with him. Sven is what Maximus would be to Flynn Rider (Rapunzel’s man) if they shared a childhood. His wholesome character and unwavering generosity are represented by the heavenly mousse, for a man like him is rare, that is perhaps what charms Anna and they fall for each other.

5. Brownie – Prince Adam

The Prince, who was a hairy beast until towards the end of the film, we're not very sure if Belle was disappointed when he changed back to his original form because she did grow rather quite fond of the vicious beast that held her prisoner. Speculations aside, the brownie perfectly suits the beast because he's hairy and aggressive in his beast form, quite like the crunchy and crusty brownie edges. But in him hides the gentler prince with the thick mane of hair, like a brownie's soft fudgy center. We don't know much of him, but we're sure he's a good boy like the beast was. Besides even in his beastality all he wanted was someone to bond with so much so he imprisoned Belle and gave her all the world’s luxuries, just so she would stay.

6. Chocolate Soufflé – Flynn Rider

Women are still crazy for him so we saved the best one for the last with his lopsided grin. Did you know Disney actually called in women to make the perfect man, that Flynn Rider (Eugene Fitzherbert) is, yes they did! Well, maybe not perfect but he definitely is the delicate soufflé that takes precise ratios and technique for the trademark rise. And boy does he rise after having the adventure of his life with the girl of his dreams, Princess Rapunzel with her yards of never-ending hair. Definitely try making one yourself by trying a chocolate souffle recipe, in memory of the dreamy floating lanterns scene, it doesn't get better than that!
