Which Scooby Doo Character is Which Dessert? Are They An instant dessert recipe or something else?

It’s been several decades since the cartoon version of the beloved mystery cartoon series – Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! aired. The tune might follow you throughout the day now that we have evoked nostalgia for you! Whether you like the newer Simple Plan version or the older ones performed by Larry Marks (first season), then by George A. Robertson (second season). We decided to do what we do here occasionally, have some fun, and rethink the classic scaredy cat Scooby and Shaggy to the brave Fred, once-in-a-while helpful Daphne and the nerdy Velma as desserts. Some of these desserts do fall under the instant dessert recipe, tag, so rest assured you can make them at home.

1. Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich – Shaggy

peanut-butter-and-jelly-sandwich

The American sloppy sandwich that uses two favorites – jelly and peanut butter, we know Shaggy would love it. He even remotely resembles one with his sloppy, unkempt appearance and a bristly strip of beard on his chin. This treat falls under instant dessert recipes and is easy to make having its origins in WWII, where American soldiers going to war used to have it often. Imagine a peanut butter and jelly sandwich acting silly and solving crimes, that would certainly be a sight, perhaps in another world, where everything is sweet and dandy.

2. Brownies – Scooby

A chocolate treat loved by everybody who loves chocolates, Scooby is Shaggy’s dog, and best friend, which many of us didn't know because he is an equal member of the Mystery Inc. gang. If this got you in a craving grip, try a mini chocolate brownie recipe, that are fantastic replicas (not really, but ykwim) of the Scooby snacks, that can get Scooby (and also Shaggy) to do almost everything. He's the wild card of the group, which is used to trap villains into their usually well-planned schemes.

3. Tiramisu – Fred

tiramisu

As the leader of the gang, frequent driver of the Mystery Machine, the little family van, and the bravest one of the lot, he's an energising yet toe-curling delicious Tiramisu. Also the “leader of let's split up, gang”, Fred leads the others during the hunt for clues and is a pro at making traps that Shaggy and Scooby end up setting up in the end the traps somehow do save the day. He also has the smarts but that side of his isn’t shown enough just like Tiramisu’s raunchy history as an aphrodisiac.

4. Pumpkin Pie – Velma

Velma is peak ageing millennial-core with her nerdy getup and comfy sweater weather garb and her sharp ability to join the dots because just like in corporate culture the good-looking ones are the mascots of the company while the introverted medium ugly ones who can't care how they look, solve actual company problems like Velma does. Maybe there's a reason why her orange has a shade of brown like Scooby who is more of a big help in uncovering clues than the other three. That way, she's a comforting pumpkin pie with its familiar spices that make you want to relax and take someone else charge for once.

5. Blueberry Cheesecake – Daphne

Trouble bair Daphne is the fashionista of the group, which makes you question what she does in the group exactly. It's kind of like when you dig into a luscious and creamy blueberry cheesecake. However, She is quick on her feet, evolves as a character, and is good at picking locks. The blueberry is sometimes swirled into the cheesecake or just christened over the cream cheese, and Daphne shares a color palate similar to this dessert too – purple and the fact that she is Caucasian. While blueberry cheesecake is thrust in your face everywhere you go, Daphne’s character leaves much to be desired.

6. Cinnamon Roll – Scrappy-Doo

cinnamon-roll

This little Dane puppy pops up quite later in the Scooby-Doo franchise and is Scooby’s nephew. He's feisty and always up to take on the villains in a physical fight, a bad idea given his size. He is adventurous yet somehow exhibits familiar traits and the whole gang is fond of this little guy. He's a comforting cinnamon roll with the spice kick highlighting his fighting spirit. He does evolve just like Daphne where we learn when to snap and throw punches and when to be a wallflower. He is equally fond of the Mystery Inc. gang who keep him on a lease, especially his uncle Scooby, not literally of course.
