In a bowl, mix warm milk and custard powder together.
Now add sugar to the bowl.
Add vanilla essence and mix gently.
Now cut bread into slices and place them into a ceramic tray. Make sure you fill it tightly.
Spread the custard milk on top of the bread evenly and generously.
Now break a Cadbury Bournville chocolate bar into pieces by hand and place the pieces on bread.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Bake the bread pudding for 15 minutes at 180°C.
Once done, take the pudding out, and let it cool slightly. Slice it and serve.
The bread pudding is best eaten fresh out of the oven.
