Rasmalai, a beloved Indian dessert of Bengali origin, holds significant cultural importance, particularly during festivals and celebrations, and is known for its creamy texture and subtle sweetness. Known for its melt-in-the-mouth texture and delicate saffron or cardamom aroma, Rasmalai is a popular treat served during festivals, weddings, and special occasions. 

For the Chhena

  • 1 cup full-fat milk
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice or vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For the Milk Syrup

  • 1 cup full-fat milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

For the Ganache  (1:1 ratio of chocolate and cream)

  • Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate – 100 gm
  • Fresh cream – 100 ml
  • Cocoa powder

Directions

Cadbury Rasmalai - Cadbury bars, break it
Step 1

Take Cadbury bars, break it into small pieces.

Cadbury Rasmalai - Melt and whisk
Step 2

Melt and whisk.

Cadbury Rasmalai - Pour milk
Step 3

Pour milk in a heavy bottom pot and boil. Stir, move aside the malai/cream that comes on top till desired thickness is achieved.

Cadbury Rasmalai - Dip chhena balls in melted chocolate
Step 4

Dip chhena balls in melted chocolate and freeze. Take them out and place them inside the Malai bowl.
