For the Recipe
- Plain flour – 1 Cup
- Sugar – ¼ cup
- Cadbury Cocoa powder (sifted) – 1/3 cup
- Baking powder – ¾ teaspoon
- Baking soda – ½ teaspoon
- Salt – a pinch
- Egg – 1 large (room temperature)
- Vegetable oil – 60 ml
- Milk – 125 ml (room temperature)
- Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
- Oreo biscuits chocolate flavour (lightly crushed) – 6 - 7 pieces
- Warm water – 100 ml
Directions

Mix the dry ingredients - flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt until combined.

Add Egg, Oil, Milk and Vanilla essence onto the dry ingredients and mix well, then add the warm water and gently whisk until smooth.

Add crushed up Oreo biscuits into the batter and mix well.

Pour the batter into a baking tin and bake in a pre-heated oven at 170˚C for about 30 -35 minutes or till a toothpick comes out clean.
Make sure that the chocolate powder is sifted well to ensure that it is free of lumps.
